An action-packed fight card in Pasadena Texas this month was highlighted by the main event – Danielle Bennett won with a Unanimous Decision over Carmen Vargas. What a great way to start the New Year for the NABF Women’s Division!

Bennett, from Kansas City MO, first won the Super Bantamweight title in her hometown in October 2022. Vargas brought her stellar reputation as a strong amateur and up-and-coming professional fighter into the ring. After a careful first round, the pace picked up and did not stop.
The crowd was treated to a toe to toe event, and plans are in the works for Danielle’s next defense at the Pasadena Convention Center. Promoter Termite Watkins and partner Jeff Barnett will feature her again in their next show.
BOXING WITH TERMITE, the promotions company for this event, is run by former boxer Maurice “Termite” Watkins who retired with a record of 61-5-2.
