Undefeated world ranked Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez of Mexico is ready to close training camp in Carson, California and head to Las Vegas next Monday for his upcoming fight against Gevorg Khatchikian, of the Netherlands a fight that will take place next Friday, November 20, at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
“I am very anxious to get to Las Vegas for fight week, and I am also very excited for the fight next Friday night. I know that fighting in Las Vegas is very important for any boxer and it’s also very important to look good there,” said Ramirez who has being training for the fight at the Rock Gym in Carson, California.
Ramirez will be risking his upcoming world title shot in a 10-round World Boxing Organization (WBO) International / North American Boxing Federation (NABF) super middleweight title defense against Khatchikian (22-1, 10 KOs) in a fight that will be televised live on The MetroPCS Friday Night Knockout on truTV at 10:00 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.
