Although a series of injuries throughout the past year slowed down Quillin’s game, he is dedicated to proving in this comeback performance that he is faster, stronger, and more even dangerous than ever before. Quillin said “I know Zuniga is very experienced, and I am going to have to be on the top of my game to beat him. But I am excited to be back in the ring, particularly, on the biggest show of my career.”
Kid Chocolate is not the only one confident in his abilities to continue his success inside of the ring. Quillin’s manger John Seip said, “I have been saying all along that Pete can beat all of these guys, and therefore I have given the green light to fighting Zuniga whose record is 28-9 with 21 KO’s.”
Kath Duva, President of Main events said “I have watched Kid Chocolate progress from a club fighter to the level that he is at now, fighting in the semi final on an important show. We anticipate a sold out crowd, and this is a golden opportunity for Quillin to prove that he belongs at this level.”
Catch Petey’s first step down the road to a championship title on February 6th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, where skeptics will become believers and spectators will become fans…
