“Zurda” Ramirez looked very good in a one-sided stoppage of Giovanni Lorenzo. Gilberto’s body attack was extremely impressive, and the future for this young man is incredibly bright!

on May 17 on the undercard of Marquez vs Alvarado, Oscar Valdez defended his Junior NABF Super Featherweight title and improved to 11-0 with 11 KOs with the stoppage win (end of 6th round). Oscar won the Junior NABF title on April 12, and he’s hoping to defend it again in June or July! Promoter: Top Rank.

-RUIZ VS QUEZADA

 on May 17, Andy Ruiz defended his NABF Heavyweight with a 2nd round TKO of Manuel Quezada. Ruiz improved to 22-0 with 16 KOs. Promoter: Top Rank.

 LEE VS JACKSON

On June 7th at MSG Andy Lee took the vacant SMW Title by knocking out John Jackson in the fifth

 

Dierry Jean wins NABF lightweight belt

Former jr welterweight title challenger Diery Jean (26-1, 18 KOs) moved down to lightweight in his comeback fight and scored an eighth round TKO over Mario Perez (15-6-4, 9 KOs) on Friday night at the Pierre-Charbonneau Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Jean dropped Perez twice in round eight. Time was 1:21. Jean claimed the vacant NABF light belt for his efforts.

DANIEL MARTZ VS ALEXIS SANTOS

Daniel Martz defeated Alexis Santos for Junior NABF Heavyweight title.  Santos retired after the 3rd round, after sustaining a sprained ankle when knocked down in the first round.
